Paged Plywood introduces BirchPly Premium – birch plywood with the highest surface grade
Pisz, 23 February 2026 – Paged Plywood S.A. expands its portfolio with Paged BirchPly Premium – birch plywood featuring the highest surface quality grades (I and II in accordance with EN 635-2) and a distinctive longitudinal grain pattern that clearly differentiates it from the standard range at first glance
The product has been developed for demanding interior design projects and decorative-technical applications, where a consistent, uniform surface and a pronounced linear wood grain are essential.
Double-sided with 0.55 mm birch veneer and maintaining the highest technical performance – including high strength and moisture resistance (Class 3 waterproof bond) – Paged BirchPly Premium strengthens the company’s position in the premium segment both in export markets and in Poland. It is a solution for projects where not only technical performance matters, but also refined detailing and the natural aesthetics of the finish.
“For interior architects, furniture manufacturers, fit-out companies and contractors, the aesthetics of the material is often the starting point of the entire project – it largely determines how users perceive and experience the space. BirchPly Premium enables work without compromise and without surprises, offering the natural beauty of a top-grade birch surface, ready to be showcased in the most demanding applications,”
says Olga Zajączkowska, Director of Product Development, Marketing and Communication at Paged Plywood and Member of the Management Board of Paged LabTech.
Responsible sourcing – Baltic birch
The plywood is manufactured from birch sourced from the Baltic region, using verified and responsibly sourced (conflict-free) raw material. The product holds CE, FSC or PEFC, CARB and EPD certifications, confirming compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements in international markets.
The E1 formaldehyde emission class (EN 717-1) ensures safe use in residential and commercial interiors.
Technical parameters and production flexibility
The product is available in thicknesses from 4 to 30 mm, in a standard format of 2500 × 1250 mm (custom sizes available on request). The average density ranges from 640 to 760 kg/m³.
Paged also offers additional processing services – including edge finishing, CNC machining and drilling according to customer requirements – enabling delivery of material precisely tailored to manufacturers’ and contractors’ needs.
Natural elegance in the premium segment
Paged BirchPly Premium responds to growing demand for materials that combine high technical performance with timeless aesthetics. The refined surface with exceptional visual qualities and a beautiful, natural wood grain makes the product perfectly suited to premium interior projects, where natural character, quality and responsible sourcing create tangible value.
